Are you aware of the importance of keeping your smile safe? If you are neglecting your oral health, various aspects of your physical health concerns follow. Furthermore, in order to ensure your smile can continue getting the care it deserves, set forth effective toothbrush techniques to not only improve your toothbrush care but also to keep your toothbrush safe.

To help keep your toothbrush safe from the risk of contamination, always store it in an area that is free from coming into contact with other toothbrushes. Furthermore, never let anyone else use your brush and never use anyone else’s toothbrush. Make sure you store your toothbrush upright and an aired-out location where it is free of any moisture or mildew. Whenever you brush your teeth, make sure that you clean your brush afterward and return it to its proper location. Typically, brushes only last between three to four months, at which time they will need to be replaced. However, if you notice that your brush is beginning to wear down before then, you will need to replace it even sooner.
